Ask at the reception area for the special handicap guidebook, which will help you throughout the day and ensure that you enjoy your visit in the best possible conditions. Most of the equipment at Parc Astérix was designed to facilitate access for the handicapped. We do, however, advise you to come with a person capable of assisting you if necessary, as operators at Parc Astérix are not authorised to help move the handicapped. At the reception area at the park entrance, you may borrow a wheelchair for the day if you show an ID and pay a €20 deposit. Please note there are a limited number of wheelchairs available. Visitors with an ID card specifying a health condition will usually have priority access to the attractions via the attraction exit.
Parc Astérix Management recommends that visitors read the warnings posted at the entrance to each attraction to make sure that it corresponds to their condition. In general, we strongly advise any person with health problems or whose medical condition could be aggravated by the strong sensations experienced on a ride, to avoid the attractions at Parc Astérix.
There is a first aid station at the park and it is open at all times. If you need an injection administering at a set time for certain conditions, bring your prescription and either the physician or nurse on duty will be able to help you.
