You may have seen comment in the press recently about the compulsory carrying of roadside warning triangles. Whilst this has been law in France for some time, there was a period to allow for the fact that manufacturers could not keep up with demand. This is now over and, since October 1st 2008, anyone stopped without one is liable to a hefty on-the-spot fine, please be warned.
