Paris - After Dark

As you would imagine, Paris offers plenty of choice when it come’s to nightlife. Parisians tend to start their evenings with aperitifs at their local bars or cafes as a prelude to dinner, or to wind up before a big night out. There are shows, music, theatre, bars, clubs a plenty. We have included just a few suggestions.

Bars

If there are hundreds of restaurants, there must be thousands of bars in Paris. The best advice for where to go for a drink is for the surroundings or the view. There are bars which overlook the Seine, the Eiffel Tower, you name it. Each of the dozens of small squares (“places”) have bars on them and virtually every station and Metro stop has a bar in close proximity.

Here’s just a small selection:

Café de l’Industrie - 16, rue Saint-Sabin , great Parisian food and cocktails, M: Bréguet-Sabin.

La Casbah 18-20, rue de la Forge-Royale, playing the hottest music in a trendy environment M: Ledru-Rollin.

Le Doobie’s 2, rue Robert-Etienne,locals and tourists frequent this place, designed by former tennis star Yannick Noah M: Franklin-D-Roosevelt.

Le Dépanneur 27, rue Fontaine trendy and a popular place in the evenings with American décor . M: Blanche.

Le Moloko is right opposite at number 26, and the same crowd frequent both!
