The Calais Tourist Office can provide details of recommended restaurants and also information on the 13 restaurants that are part of ‘The Calais Club of Quality’; these are restaurants that provide a special ‘Toques d'Opale’ menu, which includes original recipes devised and developed by their chefs. Many restaurants can be found around the Place d’Armes and along the Rue Royale, whilst there are more cheap and cheerful places nearer the beach.
