Pirita Beach

5km north of the city centre is Pirita Beach, where Tallinn locals come to enjoy the fine white sandy beach and the various activities that take place in and out of the water.

Rocca al Mare (Open Air Museum)

An open-air museum made up of 18th century farm buildings, thatched barn dwellings and windmills set in the forests overlooking Kapli Bay, which explain farming techniques over 150 years.

Tallinn Zoo

Established in 1939, the zoo is home to one of the most exciting collections in Scandinavia with over 5,400 animals, representing nearly 350 species, and many rare creatures from temperate and Arctic zones, as well as animals from more exotic climes. In the tropical house you can see crocodiles, chimpanzees, and many other rain forest dwellers and in the petting zoo children can meet hamsters, rabbits and other small animals.

Rocca al Mare Tivoli

Estonia’s largest amusement park with 18 different rides and over 100 video and carnival games to keep the whole family entertained. Shows are performed daily in the main tent.
