If you are travelling by car, there are several options. You can either take the sea crossing from Dover to either Calais or Dunkirk (sailing time between 1 – 2 hours) or through the Channel Tunnel (with Eurotunnel) and drive north from there; alternatively, you can take the ferry from Hull to Zeebrugge (journey time around 11 hours).
