The majority of Leuven’s sights are all within easy walking distance of each other in the city centre, and there are good transport links to those that are a little further out. As well as the magnificent historical buildings, visitors are also often surprised at how green the city is. At the Tourist Office, you can buy a combination ticket which will allow you a guided tour of the City Hall and the Museum of Religious Art in St Peter’s Church followed by a guided walk through the centre of Leuven. Also, during July and August from 3pm to 5pm, the Tourist Office arranges guided walks around the city’s prettiest spots.
