Train

Trains run from Leuven’s Railway Station to most of the main cities in Belgium and beyond; Brussels is only a 40 minute train journey.

Buses

Buses, operated by De Lijn, run throughout the city centre and beyond. Free leaflets showing the bus routes are widely available in many public places throughout the city. A One Day pass is available direct from the driver allowing unlimited travel for the day of purchase.

Taxis

There are numerous taxi ranks around the city.

Horse Drawn Cabs

Tours of the city are available in horse drawn cabs from April to October departing from in front of St Peter’s Church.

Shuttle Bus Tours

City tours are available via a shuttle bus, departing every hour from by the Town Hall. The tour lasts 50 minutes and takes in many of the main sites of Leuven as well as a few hidden gems. www.citytours.be
