Antwerp's most famous son is the 16th-century painter Rubens, whose work can be found all over the city including in the cathedral and in the Museum of Fine Art. The city has a long artistic tradition, and its three largest art museums are concentrated a mile or two south of the city centre, all within an easy walk of each other.
