Trams and buses

A useful tram and bus system serves the city and its suburbs from a number of points around Centraal Station. Bus stops are concentrated along Pelikaanstraat and in Koningin Astridplein.

There’s a city transport information office in the Diamant underground station – they issue free maps of the city transport system and sell tickets including a Dagpas – a 24-hour unlimited city-wide travel card. Single tickets – valid for one hour – are also available from tram and bus drivers.
