Antwerp is fairly self-contained and all the major sights are within walking distance. If you've brought your car, parking is relatively easy. There is a huge car-park situated beneath the quayside sheds lining the river and there are several underground car parks in the city centre.

The public transport system (called De Lijn), which includes buses and trams is cheap and efficient.

You can also take tours of the city centre by horse-drawn carriage, departing from the Grote Markt, and tours of the river, departing from the Steen quay.
