Located in the heart of Ireland, this splendid county is full of rich heritage, beautiful landscapes, rivers, lakes and streams. Westmeath stretches from Lough Ree in the west to Lough Sheelin in the northeast and due to its many water amenities, offers a wealth of fishing, cruising, watersports and other water based activities from one of its many lakes or canals.
