The historic city of York is one of Britain’s oldest cities and continues to attract thousands of visitors each year who come to experience the vibrant nighlife, excellent shopping and fascinating history which stretch back over 2000 years. It is a small walled city which sits on the River Ouse with a number of renowned museums, galleries and buildings.
