Great beaches and facilities make this a favourite with British holidaymakers

Western Andalucia is definitely one of the favourite holiday destinations for the British encompassing the Costa del Sol and Costa de la Luz. The Costa del Sol in particular has seen a lot of development along its coastline. Due to its mild climate it is possible to enjoy the area’s sandy beaches and outdoor pursuits virtually all year round. Neighbouring Costa de la Luz is slightly milder with Atlantic breezes, and is particularly popular with windsurfers and surf boarders. The beaches here are also formed by finer more golden sand than neighbouring Costa del Sol. A visit to nearby Gibraltar is both interesting and a chance to stock up on duty frees.
