Tuscany is one of Italy’s most visited regions and it’s easy to see why: the rolling hillsides covered with vineyards and olive groves, medieval villages, historic towns with stunning architecture and a rich cultural heritage. The area is also home to some of Italy’s most famous wines including Montepulciano and Chianti and the northern coastline is renowned for its seafood. Florence, the birthplace of Renaissance, should not be missed for its beautiful buildings and Uffizi art galleries whilst Pisa, Siena and Lucca are also all worth visiting. But of course the climate may mean you’re reluctant to stray too far from the pool or beach!
