March to October is more popular as the weather is generally better, however November to February is often better value and there is still plenty going on.

Weekends are much busier with hotel rooms at a premium, so consider a mid-week break unless booking well in advance.

Dublin also has many festivals with St Patrick’s Day (17 March) and Bloomsday (mid-June) being frivolously celebrated so expect a thronging crowd.
