Amsterdam is a delight for shopping with a whole array of goods on offer. Normal shopping hours are from 9am - 6pm Tuesday to Friday (most shops are closed Monday morning) and 9am – 5pm on Saturday. Some shops do stay open later on Thursday and most shops are closed all day Sunday. Please note that some of the smaller shops will not accept credit cards.
