Schiphol Airport is situated 14km southwest of the city.

Trains
The easiest way to get to the centre of Amsterdam from Schiphol Airport is by train from the central hall of the airport, below Schiphol Plaza. Trains leave every ten minutes during the day and the journey takes 15-20 minutes. A single ticket is €3.10.

Taxis
Taxis can be caught at the front of the airport and the journey to the city centre will take approximately half an hour.

Buses
There are several regular bus services which run from the A7 stop outside the airport to the city throughout the day. Connexxion runs a half-hourly shuttle-bus, which goes directly to several of Amsterdam's major hotels.
