Although the main tourist season runs from May to September, when the weather is at its most reliable, Berlin is an exciting city to visit all year round.

It has a continental climate typical of North-Eastern Europe with warm summers (average temperature 18°C) and cold winters (average temperature -1°C).

The summer months are a lovely time to visit as, although very busy, much of Berlin’s entertainment takes place out of doors but in the winter the queues are shorter!
