The seaside resort of Le Touquet’s Paris-Plage was created in 1882 by M. Daloz, a major local landowner, and thanks to the immense beaches and superb forest soon became a select holiday resort in Victorian times. The fashionable resort retains a faded glory, and there are now many prestigious sports facilities and casinos. Hotel Windsor is conveniently located just 50m from Le Touquets beach and boutiques, surrounded by a fine selection of restaurants.
