This harbourside hotel dates from the 15th century, and provides character with period features to match.

Recently refubished throughout, all bedrooms have lovely views overlooking the fishing port or estuary, and are decorated in a welcoming style, some with exposed wooden beams. With an enviable location at the mouth of the Vieux Bassin (the entrance to the old harbour), this is a great base from which to explore Honfleur’s boutiques, galleries and its many brasseries and restaurants by night.

Honfleur is a quaint, picturesque fishing port on the Normandy coast, historically a rendez-vous for artists from around the world. The hotel is situated at the entrance to the harbour, which is still a thriving fishing and sailing port, at the foot of the Lieutenance (the last remains of the towns fortifications). The port is lined with high narrow houses datng from 17th and 18th centuries, many of which now house galleries, fascinating shops and restaurants. Close by Honfleur are the D-Day landing beaches.
