A simple but charming auberge, set on the river Hem near Calais
A short drive from the ports in an undiscovered rural backwater, this hotel is set in a riverside mill with friendly owners.
We are very pleased to re-introduce l'Auberge du Moulin d'Audenfort to our programme, now back under the attentive management of the previous owners after a couple of years’ break. This little family-run mill is a hidden gem and a rural alternative to a channel hop in one of the port towns. The auberge has fewer than 20 rooms, all simply furnished but spotlessly clean and the rustic bar-restaurant, with its fireplace for the winter and riverside terrace for the summer, offers a pleasant environment for winding down at the end of the day. With local set menus at reasonable prices, including a vegetarian option, half board here is recommended. Please note the restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings and the hotel is closed on Mondays.
HALF BOARD available at a supplement - please call to book this option.
FREE 3rd night B&B all year arrival Tuesday.
