In the wine village of Eguisheim, 5 km from Colmar

Ideally located on the Alsace Wine Road, the village of Eguisheim is close to Colmar. This unique city, which dates back to the Middle Ages, features winding streets, which are abundant with flowers. At the centre of Colmar, fortified in 1257, are the remains of the fortified castle that was constructed in the 13th century by the Count Eberhard. The beautiful Alsace countryside, sheltered between the pine covered Vosges and the Jura mountains, is famous for its Routes du Vin and pretty medieval villages.
